Chihuahua is the oldest dog breed in America, has a very fine structure of bones but very well developed muscles and their name comes from the region of Chihuahua in Mexico. Often called by its owners "Chi", this very distinctive dog breed has a unique personality with their human-like expression, are always full of energy and both grace, throughout the longest life span among all dog breeds, as much as fifteen years.

Any size of house can be home for a small Chihuahua dog, which is alert and intelligent, has a strong personality and manifests devotion to its master, who cherish it. The character of Chihuahua is difficult, as it seems to be high-strung and, because it attaches only to one person, to its master who offered it training and company, it can turn jealous to his children. This brave dog never hesitate to accost dogs of other breeds, no matter possible injuries, because they are clannish, they like only dogs of their breed.
